Bureaucrats are one level 'up' from administrators. Bureaucrats only have the ability to manipulate user rights, as well as block/unblock users. That means they can revoke and/or block any administrators if it is necessary. They can also appoint new bureaucrats and revoke their own. In general, bureaucrats are given admin rights in order to be effective in the wiki.
What are the expectation of bureaucrats?
Although bureaucrats share similar expectations with administrators, they are the leaders of the wiki, therefore these standards are applied in a stricter term.
- Current members of administrators.
- Require extreme care and judgement when using bureaucrat/admin/bot tools.
- Be fair and patient when treating matters.
- Be friendly and answer any inquiries.
- Be respectful and civil when making comments on articles, posts and blogs.
- Have a superior understanding on every aspect of the wiki.
- Have a huge contribution to the wiki.
- Never be involved in major vandalism or bans.
Please make a request on request for user rights if you would like to be a bureaucrat.
How to revoke a bureaucrat?
Bureaucrat status can only be removed by Fandom Staff, or by themselves.
Please use Special:Contact to contact Fandom staff if bureaucrats are abusing their power, or if they seriously fail the expectation of bureaucrats. Only Fandom Staff can remove right of bureaucrat from a user as they have full access to all of Fandom. They will be shown in Special:Listusers/staff on any wiki.
If there is no active administrators or bureaucrats in the wiki. An adoption request of Don't Starve Game Wiki shall be made using Special:Contact.
